While they are generally peaceful and thrive in active shoals, their "busy" nature means they may occasionally nip at long or flowing fins, so they are best housed with fast-moving companions rather than delicate species like Angelfish or Guppies.

Compatibility: The Lemon Tetra is an active, mid-water shoaler that brings great energy to a community tank, but its occasional nipping tendencies mean tankmates should be chosen carefully.
